Frequently Asked Questions

Homeowners have a lot of questions, and we believe clear answers build trust. Below are the most common questions we hear about roofing, insurance, inspections, and what to expect when getting your roof replaced.

Insurance companies won’t raise your rate because a claim was filed (due to a weather event), but they will increase rates if the zip code was hit by a damaging storm. If your area was hit, rates usually rise whether you file or not.

Yes — no pressure, no obligation. We simply show you what we see.

Typically 10–20 years depending on the quality of materials, proper ventilation, proper maintenance and severity of storms. Our weather can be rough, so lifespan varies.

We look at shingle condition, granule loss, soft spots, leaks, and storm damage. After the inspection, we’ll tell you exactly what you need and why.

Missing shingles, lifted shingles, granules in gutters, hail dents in gutters, ceiling water spots, or anything that looks “off” after a storm. If something feels wrong, it’s worth a free look.

Yes. We walk you through the process, meet your adjuster, document damage, and make sure nothing is missed.

We can review the denial, reinspect, and provide documentation if a second look is needed.

We inspect  shingles, flashing, ventilation, gutters, fencing, garage doors, window screens, window vinyl, A/C unit,  all exterior  components (Siding, fascia) and any interior signs of leaks. You will get a detailed inspection report with photos that show our findings and will include our recommendations for repair/replacements.

Yes, roofing is loud. You’ll hear footsteps, hammering, and equipment throughout the day. We recommend taking children or pets sensitive to loud noises away from the home during the install process.

No. As long as we have permission to access the property, you do not need to be home. We take photos of everything we find and walk you through it afterward so you’re fully informed. You will only need to be home if there is interior damage that needs to be documented.

Yes. We work with every major carrier and follow their required documentation process.

Once your adjuster sets up the appointment with you, we need to be notified as soon as possible to ensure we can schedule to meet them at the appointed time.

Yes. If your roof is leaking or compromised, we can tarp it to prevent further damage.

Most homes are completed in one day. Larger or more complex roofs may take two.

Our crews arrive at day break/first light. We’ll let you know the day before if anything changes.

Your roof is water tight and fully sealed the same day it’s installed. Rain will not hurt it.
